Ulli’s, the Laguna Group restaurant concept that has served Asian street food since 2013, reopened its doors at Level 1, Ayala Center Cebu Expansion last December 18, 2019.
Long time fans can now rediscover Ulli’s best-sellers such as Bibimbap, Laksa, and Angus Yaki along with new additions like the QQ Beef Noddle Soup, Katsu Sando, and Daebak Chicken. “Our offerings were inspired by our fondness for smack dab, no fuss food normally enjoyed in Asian streets” shared Raki Urbina, Laguna Group’s Corporate Chef. On what pushed the group to go for this concept a second time, Chef Raki added “we wanted to share simple, affordable, yet quality street fare that transcends generations.”

Ulli’s soft opened during the holiday season featuring a menu much different from the restaurant’s first lineup. Since then, customers have felt nostalgic oval local renditions of their favorite Asian treats, with regulars coming back for their new go-to favorites.

The store’s interiors have also become their own attraction for onlookers. Wooden furniture, street lamps and building facades add to the experience. “We definitely wanted to achieve the Instagramable vibe. But beyond a good photo op, we want diners to have a full-on street dining experience where they can casually catch up with friends and enjoy great food” said Julita Urbina, matriarch and CEO of Laguna Group
